Motorcyclist killed in crash with tractor-trailer IDd [Video]

A 67-year-old motorcyclist was killed earlier this week when he slid under a tractor-trailer at a York County intersection, the coroner’s office said.

Christopher Day, of Nocona, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Tuesday crash, which was reported around 3:30 p.m. at West Philadelphia Street and Belvidere Avenue in the city of York, according to Coroner Pamela Gay.

The coroner’s office said Day’s motorcycle was in the left lane of West Philadelphia Street at Belvidere Avenue. The tractor-trailer was driving in the right lane of West Philadelphia Street when it struck the motorcycle while making a left turn onto Belvidere Avenue.
