PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Winners of a club-record six in a row, the Portland Thorns are back in full throttle to chase down a fourth NWSL championship.

Star forward Janine Beckie has a summer bucket list of a shield, a trophy, a medal and a ring.

“When there’s a change in a club, you know always out your betting odds on the team that’s going through the change,” Beckie said. “Don’t know why that is, it’s just fresh.”

A fresh start for the red-hot Thorns and a fresh and fully healed Beckie who missed all of 2023 after surgery for a torn right ACL.
