Queen Creek teacher accused of sharing inappropriate image to student [Video]

QUEEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) — Police in Queen Creek have arrested a Crismon High Teacher on accusations of a sex crime after authorities say he shared an “inappropriate” image to a student.

Brett Smith has been arrested on one count of sex crimes.(MCSO)

At this time, details are extremely limited, but Arizona’s Family has learned that 56-year-old Brett Smith was arrested Friday and booked into the Maricopa County jail. Specifics of the investigation have not been released, but police officials have confirmed that the investigation remains active.

“The Queen Creek Police Department is committed to the safety of this community, especially our youth,” a department spokesperson told Arizona’s Family.
