Amanda Perla had just turned 18 & was a month away from graduating high school when her life changed forever… Amanda was a passenger in a horrible car accident. She broke her neck and sustained a Spinal Cord Injury leaving her a quadriplegic. In 2009, Amanda and her mother founded a non profit paralysis recovery center called NextStep Orlando to provide Activity Based Therapy to individuals affected by neurological disorders in the Central Florida area and beyond.
