CONOR MCGREGOR was set to return to the UFC this weekend – but the Irishman was forced to withdraw from the event due to injury.
McGregor, 35, hasn’t graced the octagon since SNAPPING his left leg in his Las Vegas trilogy fight with long-time rival Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
And the UFC’s poster boy was set to be welcomed back to the octagon by former three-time Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler – his rival coach on season 31 of the Ultimate Fighter.
Their long-overdue dust-up – which was first announced last February – has fallen through due to an injury to the Irishman.
