The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 1:30 p.m. on Friday valid from Saturday 5 p.m. until Sunday 11 p.m. for Ochoco-John Day Highlands.
The weather service states, “Snow expected above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches.”
“Travel could be very difficult,” comments the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
